An advertising campaign developed and placed by The Manahan Group for Charleston's Yeager Airport has resulted in a notable increase in passenger traffic for the facility.
According to Airport Director Rick Atkinson, "At the beginning of the campaign, our enplanements began to grow and each month they improved over the same period of the previous year." Enplane-ments grew by 11 percent in February 2004 alone.
The campaign consisted of radio and newspaper ads updated weekly with affordable ticket pricing. TMG ensured that up-to-date rates were included in each ad.
