THE MANAHAN GROUP PR EFFORTS GENERATING MILLIONS OF IMPRESSIONS Recent earned media campaigns organized by The Manahan Group have produced impressive results for several of its clients.
The agency’s last three major PR efforts have produced close to 3.7 million media impressions and coverage in every major
news outlet in the state, including the MetroNews Radio Network, all major television stations and most daily newspapers.
During the past five months, The Manahan Group has coordinated media coverage for more than a dozen clients. The largest
• SMART529’s “When I Grow Up” Contest, which generated more than 1.99 million media impressions;
• West Virginians for Better Transportation’s “Day at the Legislature,” which produced 1.06 million media impressions;
• West Virginians for Better Transportation’s “Transportation Conference,” generating 697,572 impressions.

Manahan is a former reporter and served as press secretary to Governor Gaston Caperton. He was named the 2010 Practitioner
of the Year by the West Virginia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Chris Stadelman, the agency’s VP
of Public Relations, is a former newspaper reporter, editor and weekly newspaper owner. He currently serves as Governor
Earl Ray Tomblin’s campaign spokesperson.
In addition, The Manahan Group has been named “Best in West Virginia” by the West Virginia PRSA Chapter four out of the
past seven years.
