The Manahan Group (TMG) has been selected by the Charleston Vandalia Rotary as its second-annual 2012 Community
Service Award recipient. TMG donated more than one-thousand hours in 2011 assisting a dozen charitable groups in
West Virginia.

“The Manahan Group and its CEO, George Manahan, time and time again give of their time, expertise and money to make
West Virginia a better place for those less fortunate,” said Pam Farris, president, Vandalia Rotary Club. “As a member of
the Vandalia Rotary, George also donates his time and expertise to help promote our many charitable efforts.”

During 2011, TMG coordinated the Circle of Hope fundraiser for Mountain Mission which raised more than $35,000 for the
non-profit. The agency was the main sponsor of the Capitol Market Green Chili Shootout, raising $7,400 for the National
MS Society. TMG has also volunteered for other groups, as well: West Virginia Immunization Network, American Lung
Association, The Ad Club of Charleston, West Virginia e-Mentoring, and West Virginia Chapter of the Public Relations
Society of America.

“Our community service is a team endeavor,” said George Manahan, CEO, The Manahan Group. “Everyone in the agency
participates and we are honored to have such wonderful charitable partners.”

The Vandalia Rotary meets weekly at Christ Church United Methodist on Charleston’s historic East End.
